A Place For You To Serve
A Place For Worship
Everyone
wants to be connected to God. We come together weekly on Sunday at
10:45 am to sing to God, to talk to God, and to listen to Him through
reading and studying the Bible. We provide a special children's worship
and nursery for those who choose to use these groups for ages 8 yrs and younger.
Music
is a dynamic expression of worship. Our choir, keyboard, vocalists and
congregation combine traditional hymns of our faith with contemporary songs of
praise to worship in an atmosphere that touches the heart and soul.
We
believe prayer is one of the most powerful connections we have with God so on
Sunday at 6:00 pm, we have a time for adults to share with one another the
great things God has done and then pray together for needs in our community and
around the world.

A Place
For Learning & Growing
Our motto is: The Bible, The Whole Bible and
Nothing but The Bible
It's important to connect God to our daily lives so we
provide an informal teaching/discussion time on Sundays at 9:30 am called
Sunday School. We have several classes for adults depending on age
and/or interest. We have Sr. High and Jr. High classes for teens, and
several age appropriate classes for children right down to providing for infants
in our nursery. The weekly bulletin handed out in worship lists the
current topics being studied. The Bible is a practical and relevant guide
and we use it as the center of study in every topic from family and marriage to
how to win friends and influence people. No matter what your interest
there's a class for you.
Teens and children are important members of our church
family. In addition to Sunday School we have the following:
Sunday 6:00 pm
Children -
AWANA An hour and a half of creative activities that mix game
time, Scripture memorization, Bible study, and time to make new friends.
F.R.O.G.s (Jr. High Fully Relying
On God) Bible study, prayer and friends
Bible Quizzing for Sr. High teens. A
motivational and challenging approach to studying books of the Bible.
Wednesday 7:00 pm
Teens need a break in the middle of the week. We
provide a positive environment for fun, encouragement, and discussion on hot
topics from a biblical perspective.
Other programs such as Summer church camps, retreats,
and kids clubs are available at various times during the year.

A Place For
Family & Friends
You will
find a network of true loving friends at our church, whether you are single,
married, young, or more mature. You will find encouragement and spiritual
support.
Carry-in-dinners ... These meals bring real joy and friendship as we share
together on special occasions.
Trips
... A few times each year we'll get together for fun or travel together and
experience good Christian friendship.
Active
Seniors ... Anyone over age 50 can enjoy our monthly meetings on Wednesday
at 10:00 am. We enjoy good conversation, but also do ministry for others
too. We are active.
Ladies
... Women sometimes need that time just for "the girls". Sometimes it's a
several week Bible study, sometimes it's a holiday tea, sometimes it's a social,
but it's always encouragement.
Men
... Our monthly men's fellowship breakfast is a great time for "the guys" to
encourage and challenge each other spiritually.
Teens
... Are not just the church of tomorrow, in addition to what's already been
mentioned the teens do practical ministries in the church and for older folks.
They learn to Nurture their Abilities for Christ, (NAC), with teens from area
Grace Brethren churches. Look for more details in the teen room or on the
Youth webpage.

A Place For You To
Serve
Truly, it
is better to give than receive. We really believe that one of the greatest
ways for anyone to grow spiritually is to be involved in ministering to others.
We have a
number of ministry teams that
serve the Lord and others. Some people are good with a hammer and screw
driver. There's a place for you. You may enjoy singing or playing an
instrument. There's a place for you. Some ministries are quiet,
behind the scenes...preparing meals, helping people. Some are more
up-front...teaching, discipling, visitation. If you have a gift, God wants
to use you.
We are
focused on Missions. The
Fellowship of Grace Brethren
churches has missions around the world and we stay connected with their work
by praying and giving.
Our local
mission is to be a spiritual lighthouse to the Lehigh Valley. Along
with worship, teaching, ministry and prayer, we believe each member of Lehigh
Valley Grace Brethren church is to live out the principles of Jesus and God's
Word to help neighbors, friends and family find freedom and happiness through a
relationship with Jesus Christ.
If you
would like to know more, talk to our pastor or
ask a friendly face on Sunday. This is a great family, and there's a
place for you.
