Truly, it is better to give than receive (Acts 20:35).  One of the best ways for anyone to grow spiritually is to be involved in ministering to others.  We call this being “on mission”.

We have a number of Ministry Teams that serve the Lord and others.  Some people are good with a hammer and screw driver.  You may enjoy singing or playing an instrument.  Some ministries are quiet and behind the scenes, such as preparing meals or helping people.  Some are more up-front, including teaching, discipleship, and visitation.  There’s an opportunity for you to serve and use your gifts.  God wants to use you.

We are focused on Mission, locally and globally.  The Charis Fellowship is “on mission” around the world.  In fact, since our mission focus began in 1900, today 85% of Charis churches are in other nations around the world.  We keep this focus by praying for and giving to our missionaries, and by training leaders and sending them out on mission.

We want to be a Spiritual Lighthouse to the Lehigh Valley.  In the Bible Jesus said, “I have come to seek and to save those who are lost.”  Our greatest mission is simply to offer to you what God has offered to us, and opportunity to live with Him forever in heaven.

Children are not the church of tomorrow, they are part of today's church and they contribute to the wholeness of our gatherings in so many ways. They are a part of our worship experience. But we also give them their own time to learn at their age & pace. There are classes for all ages on Sunday mornings during Worship (10am)& Thrive Time (11:20am).

We hold a Kid's Camp for a week in July and offer occasional "Friday Nite Lites" for fun, growth & bringing new friends. Check the events page for details.
